Details:

Hering and honer have connections going way back, with many Hering model's having an equivalent honer model. Not surprising for a harp that shows no wear and probably has been played very little, if at all. Many players prefer the Hearings.

If you're having trouble playing blues in c on A/C harmonica, give this one in f a try as a cross harp. Anyway, you can't go wrong with this harp. I couldn't find out much about these except that the sealed comb is made of some kind of Brazilian wood. I don't know if this master blues is based on a honer model or not, but with the sealed, rounded comb it feels like a marine band deluxe.

The comb alone may be worth more than the opening bid, and the harp will arrive in the nifty belt loop holster seen in the last photo. I haven't played this harp anymore than to test it but I found it to play and sound like a new, well made harmonica. It's also good forming. It's very attractive, in my opinion.

The harp is assembled with screws into a threaded reed plate for easy disassembly. Presented here is one Hering master blues harmonica in the key of. I don't hear a difference.
