Up for sale is a Customized Hohner Blues Bender with a Custom corion comb in the color of white granite, key of bb. All of our Customized harps, whether new or used, go through the following procedures before shipping. Finished corion combs are between the reed and the reed slot.

Reed draw plates and combs are flat sanded to get the proper mating of the comb to the reed plate.

I was pleasantly surprised, even before I tuned and gaped it with the ease of the bends and over blows. We perform all types of Customizing, turnings and repair on all harmonicas. The back side has been opened more than normal to let those beautiful notes flow into that favorite harp mic.

Cleaned and sanitized. The reeds are tuned to the proper type of tuning called for by the manufacturer, or requested by the client using a org electronic tuner and the new Schoenberg tuner, the newest innovation in reed tuning.

003 and normally do not need flat sanded if needed. A stainless steel bolt covered with threaded brass tubing is added to protect the plate from crushing.

This is a new harmonica and tuned to just intonation as called for by the manufacturer. This relatively inexpensive harmonica was matched with a Custom corion comb, just to see what kind of a sound and performance level I could get out of it the reed plate is cleaned and polished to get as much corrosion as possible from the reed plate. The cover plates are opened in the rear of the harp giving it a louder and richer sound for those individuals using harp microphones and amps. The reed plate is embossed to get the proper gap of.

The cover plates are buffed to a high luster and then polished with a Protestant polish. The reed plates and combs are drilled out to replace nails where used with stainless steel, or solid brass bolts and nuts making it easier to clean and to get a tighter fit of the plates to the comb.
