The tuning slide uses two o-rings and works very nicely. It also has a seamless bottom side on the mouthpiece where rests your lips which is very nice touch.

The balance between notes and octaves is perfect. The skellig lowish roughly based on old original overtone whistle, but with a few modern improvements.

The wind way of this whistle is lined with Teflon which makes moisture bead and slide right out as you play making it virtually clog free never have to warm up or clear before. It does affect the difference in volume between octave, but rather balances low and high notes within each octave. This is a completely different way to build whistle, and it allows me easily make minor adjustments suit players needs.

The reason for taper is to balance out volume between high and low notes. Sound clip coming soon.
